About CSV

The Bay Area of California is home to approximately 10,000 Cornell alumni who live and work in a lifestyle of technology and entrepreneurship the world defines as "Silicon Valley". To better serve these alumni, the University launched Cornell Silicon Valley (CSV), in 2000. (CSV) extends the vision of Cornell's first techpreneur, Ezra Cornell.

For Alumni:
CSV helps alumni make useful connections with each other, and with Cornell faculty, staff and students who are breaking new paths daily in the development and applications of new technologies. CSV offers events large and small, with relevant and important speakers and programs. Get started with CSV by signing up to receive our e-mail announcement list.

For Established Businesses:
CSV serves as a portal to Cornell's programs, faculty, and students. CSV helps businesses leverage Cornell's strengths in science and technology.

For Start-Ups:
CSV helps Cornell alumni connect with resources such as venture capital, finance and legal professionals, employees, and publicity.

Through CSV, opportunities abound to interact with many programs at Cornell.
